LYU RUIFENG, a former vice mayor of Shenzhen, is being investigated for corruption, Jiangmen People’s Procuratorate said Monday.

Lyu was also a member of the Standing Committee of the Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the CPC. One of his accomplices, Wu Chunmei, is also being investigated, according the procuratorate.

No other details were given by the procuratorate.

The procuratorate is also investigating Xiao Tanping, chairman with Shenzhen Huasheng Property Development Co., for alleged involvement in offering bribes.

It also probed Lyu Ruiguang, former deputy department chief with Shenzhen’s traffic police bureau, for allegedly taking bribes, according to the release by Jiangmen People’s Procuratorate.
