Volunteers learn paper cutting at an event organized in Hangcheng Subdistrict, Bao’an District yesterday. Part of an activity in the subdistrict to celebrate the coming Lantern Festival and the National Day holiday, some 100 participants learned to make small lanterns and the craft of paper cutting under the guidance of He Hong, who is dubbed “China’s paper cutting queen.”
