MAIN roads, buildings, parks and green areas are under construction in Qianhai and are expected to be finished by the end of 2017, when the area will give visitors a strong impression of wealth and vitality to the new financial hub of the city.

At the construction site in Qianhai on Tuesday, contractors and officials involved in the project gathered to review the progress at the site and made further resolutions to finish major segments within the remaining 100 days of this year. A group of Internet celebrities who were invited by Qianhai International New Media also visited the construction site and toured newly built buildings, witnessing firsthand the upgrades to Qianhai’s landscape.

According to authorities, the environment-related projects will be finished shortly and allow visitors to enjoy an abundance of green foliage and flowers.

Guiwan Road 4 and Qianwan Road 3 will be connected to Yueliangwan Boulevard, providing cars with more routes for entering and exiting the area. The northern part of Qianwan Road 2, Linhai Road and Binhai Road will reopen for transportation.

The Qianhai Shimao Financial Center, two buildings of Qianhai China Resources Financial Center, Qianhai Guanze Financial Center and several projects of Hong Kong’s Kerry Properties Ltd. are nearly complete. Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Fund Town, Qianhai Free Trade Building, Xinlikang Building and two plots of Qianhai Age will soon receive inspection for completion of project.
