Longgang schools

LONGGANG is trying to complete the construction of five schools before the end of August 2018, bringing 14,000 school slots to the district, according to a meeting of the district government Monday.

At present, there are 10 schools in the district undergoing construction or renovation.

Flight to St. Petersburg

I-FLY Airlines in Russia will operate flights between Shenzhen and St. Petersburg starting Dec. 6, according to a new flight notice released by Shenzhen airport recently.

The flight will operate twice a week. It will depart from Shenzhen at 4 a.m. every Wednesday and Saturday and arrive in St. Petersburg at 9:30 a.m. (local time). The return flight leaves from St. Petersburg at 11:50 a.m. every Tuesday and Friday and arrives in Shenzhen at 2:05 a.m.

The fare for a one-way trip will be 5,988 yuan (US$907).

Outbound tours

SHENZHEN ranks third among Chinese cities for outbound tours, following Shanghai and Beijing, according to a holiday big data report released by WeChat.

Southeast Asian countries as well as South Korea and Japan are the most popular tourist destinations for Chinese tourists.
