Fake driver’s license
A RETIRED military serviceman was caught for driver’s license fraud Monday and is facing a criminal charge.
On Sept. 3, 2013, the man surnamed Li, who had retired from military service, applied for a civilian driver’s license to replace his military driver’s license. But in 2015, the city’s vehicle administration, through data comparison with the provincial department, found that Li was suspected of using a fake military driver’s license.
Li was questioned Monday when he came to the vehicle administration. Li admitted he had bought the military driver’s license from a person in 2013. Police revoked Li’s driver’s license and disqualified him from applying for three years.
