A MAN in his 60s who had lost contact with his family walked 300 kilometers from Longchuan, Heyuan to Shenzhen.

The man, surnamed Li, was found by officers with the Luogang Police Station while they were patrolling Tuesday. He was sent by his son to Longchuan two weeks ago to take a train to Henan. But as he had lost his ID card, had no telephone and couldn’t remember the phone numbers of his relatives, he decided to walk back to Shenzhen.

The family had earlier reported the case to the police. (Han Ximin)
