Renovation project

THE plan for the Meiguan Expressway renovation project won a gold prize for its application of building information modeling technologies at a contest held in Singapore.

The renovation project starts at Meilin Checkpoint in the south and ends at Qinghu Flyover in the north. The 8.5-km expressway will be renovated into urban roads with eight interchange flyovers, 19 bridges, 19 viaducts and 11 footbridges.

New landmark

A NEW office building with a premier 360-degree view will be built at the intersection of Shenyan Road and Shayan Road in Yantian District.

The 33-story building will be a service center for modern industries and office space for companies headquartered in Yantian. It will be put into use before the end of next year.
