Chinese teachers’ demo classes
    2017-11-01  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

The 2017 Junior High School Master Chinese Teachers’ Demonstration Classes and the “100 Famous Books Entering Campus” events were held at our junior high school campus on June 28.

Fan Beiming from Shenzhen Experimental School, who is the first-prize winner of the Guangdong Chinese Teaching Competition, gave a lecture on how to read the article “Great Tragedy.”

She led the students by exploring the profound meaning by “enjoying it by looking for its direction, reading with deep feeling and writing by thinking.”

Then our school’s teacher Peng Liqiong gave a lesson called “Xiangzi’s tragedy: whose fault was it?” She organized tasks in which her students actively explored and pondered the reasons for Xiangzi’s tragedy.

What’s more, by comparing Fugui’s image in the story “Alive,” the students deeply reflected on and asked questions regarding the attitude one should have towards life.

Finally, Zhao Chao from Longgang Experimental School gave a highly effective lesson on writing. She demonstrated how to use mind maps to write a composition, check and revise it after finishing and write it again.

The three lessons expanded perspectives on Chinese teaching methods and introduced the audience to new ways of thinking.

Afterwards, junior middle school textbook editorial dean Tang Jianxin evaluated the three classes and gave comments, allowing the observing teachers to further understand the lessons from a higher angle.
