Lianhua Hill music festival well received

Ellen Page: ‘I was outed by director Brett’

Ellen Page is the latest actress to speak out against director and producer Brett Ratner.

She claims he outed her in public before she herself had fully realized she was gay. She says it happened on the set of “X Men: The Last Stand” when she was 18.

Bee Gees musical in the works

The Bee Gees band is getting the stage musical treatment.

Universal Pictures president Jimmy Horowitz on Wednesday announced that its live theater division has reached an agreement with Barry Gibb, Yvonne Gibb (Maurice Gibb’s widow) and the Estate of Robin Gibb to develop a stage musical based on the life story of The Bee Gees. Barry Gibb will serve as an executive producer on the project, which will feature the group’s iconic music.

JAY Z sells US$6 gig tickets to cut out touts

Some tickets for JAY Z’s concerts in the United States are being sold for as little as US$6 in a bid to cut out touts.

It’s led to some fans asking whether deals to see the 4:44 album tour on primary and resale sites are real.

Weinstein accuser says spy allegations are ‘terrifying’

Actress Asia Argento has described a report that Harvey Weinstein used ex-Israeli agents to spy on his accusers as “terrifying.” The New Yorker reporter Ronan Farrow has published a story claiming Weinstein used private investigators to try to cover up sexual abuse claims.
