A wonderful class presentation
    2017-11-15  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Last week, I had a meaningful and wonderful class. In this class, everyone gave a presentation on what they had learned from Tang Ying’s classes on reading and enjoying the famous U.S. novel “Twilight.”

The most successful and magnificent point was that everyone could express their knowledge and perspectives on their reading the novel in front of the whole class.

Besides, although it was an open class observed by teachers from other schools, I found all my classmates, extrovert or introvert, spoke English as fluently as possible. This open class not only made the observing teachers know about our experiment on English learning strategy and knowledge scope, but also cultivated students’ courage and confidence as well as our public speaking abilities.

With the help of Tang, students had prepared for this class carefully, and that’s why we made this talent show such a great success.

By this experience, we know that whatever we do, whether it is important or not, we should try our best to practice hard to show our talents and express our passion. To give a perfect performance in this open class, I rehearsed many times and achieved a lot.

Moreover, I was very interested in the topic of this class, because it was on my favorite English novel “Twilight.” For my presentation, I talked about the scenery description in chapter one.

To make everyone understand my presentation, I pronounced every word as clearly as I could. Although I felt a little nervous, I still made it and gave my best performance, which won praises from my classmates and teachers.

Thanks to this experience, I learned about how to be a good teacher, how to summarize what I have learnt and express myself clearly in English when I want to say something. The most important is that it increased our colloquial English.
