Meaning:

“又” means “again,” “双” means “double,” “叒” means “together,” and “叕” means “connected.” Coined by Chinese netizens, this term, which many find difficult to pronounce, is easily understood. Since the four-character phrase includes 10 of the character “又,” it simply means “repeatedly” or “involving a lot of twists.” This term went viral when Asahi Shimbun posted on Sina Weibo on Dec. 17, 2012 that the Japanese “were going to have a new prime minister again,” using the phrase (我们又双叒叕要换首相了).

A: 今年怎么回事，都十一月中旬了，还热得要穿短袖。

Jīnnián zěnme huí shì, dōu shíyīyuè zhōngxún le, hái rè de yào chuān duǎnxìu。
