
Renowned Chinese poet Yu Guangzhong (L) communicates with students studying in Nanjing No.5 Senior High School, Yu’s alma mater, on Oct. 7, 2008. Yu died at the age of 90 Thursday morning, Taiwan’s Sun Yat-sen University announced. Born in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province in 1928, Yu moved to Taiwan in 1949 with his parents. He is one of the best-known Chinese writers, literary critics and poets.
