Starting a business at a young age
    2018-01-03  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

We may all think that starting a business is a huge undertaking. But if you are dedicated and have excellent organizational skills, it can be rewarding. Sometimes, a small idea can turn into a successful business! Starting a business at our age doesn’t really require much time and money. And when you are passionate about your idea, it can be quite rewarding. Starting a small business can even be contributive to the whole society! So what are you waiting for?

Nowadays kids are kept busy with their schoolwork. Still, they can start their own business. A girl whose name is Hayleigh Scout has been wearing hearing aids since she was 18 months old. Hiding the hearing aids behind her hair was routine for her. By the age of 5, she no longer wanted to feel ashamed of them. She began drawing up her ideas for making charms that look like earrings. With the help of her family, she is now selling more than 50 types of charms in different styles. Her idea of highlighting hearing aids helped establish a new enterprise. This girl was absolutely not a rich and famous one at the beginning, but just because of an innovative idea and her passion, she makes a big difference.

A good business can be rewarding if you are dedicated. I often hear stories about students who don’t work well on their schoolwork but earn large sums of money through their own businesses. One day a radio program reported a story about a university student who was in charge of an Internet grocery store, and earned about a million in a year. If he can do this, well, why can’t you do it too?

Facts show that we are never too young to make a difference. Joshua Williams is the head of Joshua’s Heart Foundation. He is one of the youngest foundation presidents in the world. His aim is to help stamp out hunger and poverty in Miami, Florida. The compassionate group gathers and distributes fresh food to people in need. It’s definitely clear that this kind of business is not money-making itself. Helping others with kindness and sympathy is also a brilliant way to show your virtue.

So with your vitality and vigor, why shouldn’t you start an innovative idea of a business?
