The 33rd National Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition was recently held in Bao’an. Zhong Shenghong and Cao Zhencheng from Senior 1 won first prizes and nine students from Senior 2 won second and third place prizes. This competition was organized by the Ministry of China’s Education as well as a few other departments, aiming to encourage teenagers to explore the relationship between science, technology and society. The competition also sought to arouse their interests in science and cultivate a sense of responsibility for society. By learning knowledge, mastering skills and participating in activities, this competition improved student’s observational abilities, thinking abilities, creative abilities and practical abilities and looked to promote and improve their science skills all around. I hope that the winning students will make persistent efforts to learn and innovate. I also hope that more students will actively participate, exercise their hands-on abilities and scientific and technological innovation abilities to carry forward the spirit of innovation and win honors for our school by taking action. |
