Snapchat has created Friendmojis, and now users can use cartoon avatars* of themselves in an AR* world. Friendmoji is built on the Deluxe version of the company’s Bitmoji app that means users can create more realistic personal avatars in World Lenses. Bitmoji are personal emoji that can be sent to other Snapchatters as a sticker in Chats and on Snaps. This updated version has hundreds of new physical features, including a range of hairstyles, skin tones and accessories* that can be used to create animated characters. To create a Friendmoji, users need to open chat with a friend and press the “capture” button. This opens a direct-reply snap. Users can then point their rear-facing* camera in an area of their choice and tap the screen to unlock the Friendmoji lenses in the lens carousel. They can then place Bitmojis on the surface and the Friendmoji animation can be directed by moving or walking around the 3-D experience. When the animation is done users can send their creations to other friends or post them on their Story. (SD-Agencies) |
