Japanese boy band to hit Poly

Generations From Exile Tribe, a seven-member Japanese boy band, will give shows this weekend at Shenzhen Poly Theater.

In April 2011, Hiroyuki Igarashi began forming Generations and by April 2012, Alan Shirahama, Ryota Katayose, Ryuto Kazuhara, Hayato Komori, Reo Sano and Mandy Sekiguchi had also officially joined the band.

Generations made their major debut in November 2012 with the single “Brave It Out,” which was used as a theme song for the NTV drama “Sugarless” starring Shirahama.

They released their self-titled first studio album in November of the same year, and ranked first on the Oricon charts for the first time, selling approximately 49,000 copies in its initial week of release.

The band’s latest single was “Big City Rodeo” released in October last year.
