‘Corridor of light’ being built
    2018-03-09  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

FUTIAN will decorate more than 400 buildings with lighting as part of the city’s effort to improve cityscape at night.

This was announced at the 2018 Futian Urban Management Conference held Feb. 24 in Futian District. The management work, centered on improving the environment and building the city’s image, includes building landscape lighting projects for the benefit of citizens.

The Futian projects will focus on the district’s CBD area and include two lighting projects in the open areas at Civic Square and Xingrong Park, as well as lighting projects at 213 buildings in the district. Along the Shennan, Binhai and Beihuan avenues, the combined lighting projects of 465 buildings will form a “corridor of light.”

Gao Shengyuan, head of Futian District, said, “The project will provide a visual feast for citizens and improve their happiness and satisfaction.”(A Ding)
