mángshì chūguǐ

Meaning:

“盲” means “blind,” “式” means “style,” and “出轨” means “cheating on one’s partner.” This term was coined by netizens to refer to the extra-marital affair of painter Huang Jiawei, who created many characters of Tencent’s popular game “Honor of Kings.” Huang, 35, admitted to cheating on his wife Zou Jun recently. After netizens found out that Huang has been seeing 19-year-old Du Yuwei, a former member of Chinese idol girl group GNZ48, they invented the term “a blind affair,” because Zou is obviously more beautiful and nicer than Du. This term describes the scenario where a person is having an affair with someone less desirable than their partner.

A: 真不明白，小李离婚再娶的妻子远不如他的前任温
