深圳哈尔滨工业大学将在前海建商学院 Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen (HITSZ) will build a Shenzhen business school in Qianhai, said Yao Yingxue, rector of the institute, at a class opening ceremony in Qianhai on Saturday. This year, HITSZ set up the first fintech MBA program in Qianhai and admitted 280 students. Following the launch of this program, the institute is now seeking more cooperative opportunities within Qianhai and is also considering opening an international business school. The institute believes that its business programs are well-matched with Qianhai’s developmental goals. It will provide strong intellectual support for the area and help foster future business talents for the Greater Bay Area, said Yao. In May, a discussion on the construction of the business school was held in Qianhai. Du Peng, director of the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone Authority, said that the four disciplines (fintech, innovation and entrepreneurship, big data and business) that HITSZ plans to develop in Qianhai are in accordance with Qianhai’s needs. Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) was the first college in China to set up a business management track. In 1984, it began to provide MBA program to students. (Tan Yifan) |
