Parking spaces for sale in estates clarified
    2018-08-31  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

PROPERTY owners can only purchase or rent one parking space in the parking lot if the number of parking spaces in the residential estate is fewer than that of apartments, according to the revised draft of the city’s property management regulations, sznews.com reported.

When parking spaces outnumber apartments, two parking spaces can be purchased or rented, under the premise that each apartment has at least one parking space.

According to the draft, which was reviewed at the 27th meeting of the sixth session of the standing committee of the municipal people’s congress Wednesday, parking spaces and garages can only be sold or transferred to homeowners in the same housing estate.

If the property developer is the owner of a parking lot, it should publicize the number of parking spaces that will be for sale or lease when the apartments are put up for lease or sale. The number should also be clearly indicated in the sales contracts.

The meeting also reviewed the drafts on the city’s intellectual property rights (IPR) protection regulations.

Shenzhen is mulling whether to establish positions for technical investigators to enforce the law in judicial institutions and administrative organizations.

It was proposed that the clauses on building think tanks to provide technical assistance for judicial trials, administrative law enforcement, and arbitration and mediation in IPR disputes be further studied. (Zhang Yu)
