New driver A DRIVER surnamed Zhang who got her driver’s license six months ago hit a fee-collection pavilion at Songpingcun housing estate in Nanshan District, killing a worker Aug. 25. The worker was working at the exit-entrance of the parking lot when he was knocked down by Zhang. Police are determining the responsibility for the accident. Route dispute A WOMAN surnamed Chen in Longhua District complained that she had been forced out of a cab after a dispute with a Didi driver over the route Aug. 7, according to the Southern Metropolis Daily on Thursday. The driver surnamed Yang, who is in his 40s, even followed her for hundreds of meters, verbally assaulting her along the way, Chen claimed. On the second day after Chen filed the complaint, she received a threatening call and found that Yang was still working for Didi.
