Volunteer services

THREE volunteers from Shenzhen will go to a Brunei university to carry out volunteer services for about one year, according to a decision made by the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Youth League and the Ministry of Commerce.

This is also the fourth time that Shenzhen has dispatched volunteers to provide overseas volunteer services.

Care insurance

SHENZHEN is mulling introducing a long-term care insurance system that is based on social insurance and supplemented by commercial insurance, covering all residents who are covered by basic medical insurance.

The insurance system mainly targets residents who need long-term care, aiming to provide basic living care to the disabled and cover their medical and nursing expenses.

In addition, the system will give priority to special groups, such as disabled elders, people living in extreme difficulties, disabled servicemen and family members of revolutionary martyrs or servicemen.
