Some people say that fate is irresistible, and so they give in and become ordinary people. On the other hand, many people believe that they can change their fate, so they fight against it. Although some people have failed, some have succeeded.

Beethoven suffered a lot from being deaf, but he didn’t bow to his fate. Instead, he worked hard and insisted on composing music. What’s more, he kept a good attitude that helped him become one of the most famous composers of all time.

Similarly, some students suffer because of low marks from exams. The students give up because they think that this is their fate and they can’t beat it, so they stop studying hard, and as a result, they keep receiving low marks. On the contrary, other students don’t give up. They think they should fight against their fate to make their dreams come true, so they try hard to find the reasons why they got low scores.

Then, they change their learning strategies and work hard at their subjects. In this way, they make progress step by step and finally they become successful people.

The fact is those students fail because they don’t look to correct the mistakes that they hadve made. The successful students know why they fail, keep looking for and finding solutions to solve their problems, and then find a way to study better.

In the society, not everyone is successful. Instead many people have experienced many failures, but some try hard, and fight against their fate to become great people. We should know that if we fight against our fate, we have the possibility to succeed; but if we give up, we will be sure to fail.
