Sino-German investment forum fruitful
    2018-10-26  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

COOPERATIVE agreements on 10 projects were signed between Bao’an and German businesses at a Bao’an investment environment promotion meeting & 2018 Sino-German (Bao’an) Investment Cooperation Forum held in Bao’an on Oct. 19.

Shenzhen Fukucima Industrial Co. Ltd. and AAT Automation GmbH agreed to to set up AAT-Fukucima Robot Automation Ltd., which will engage in aviation logistics and aviation equipment maintenance. Shenzhen Morc Control Co. Ltd. and Hoerbiger Flow Control GmbH will collaborate on intelligent valve positioner technology.

Meanwhile, Germany’s Sachsen-Anhalt China Center will set up a representative office at Bao’an Sino-German (Europe) Industrial Development Cooperation Alliance.

A total of 3,200 Bao’an-based enterprises are trading partners with European companies, according to the forum. The forum aimed to bridge conversations between Chinese and German entrepreneurs, and upgrade the international competitiveness of local businesses.

The district government has attached great importance to cooperation with businesses in Germany and other European countries in recent years. It has opened a government representative office in Germany.

It also plans to establish a Sino-German industrial park, which is expected to occupy a total area of more than 20,000 square meters. Phase I has been completed and will be commissioned soon. A sub-park will be built in each of the 10 subdistricts.

By the end of August, Bao’an’s imports and exports with European countries had reached 29.4 billion yuan (US$4.3 billion), an increase of 5.6 percent over the same period last year. (SD News)
