
Italian pianist Gilda Butta will play Chopin’s “Ballade No. 1, Op. 23,” Liszt’s “Un Sospiro” and “Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2,” Rachmaninoff’s “Vocalise” and “Preludes, Op. 32,” Debussy’s “Clair de Lune,” Korsakov’s “The Flight of the Bumblebee” and Ennio Morricone’s movie scores. After studying piano at Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan, Butta won the Franz Liszt Prize in 1976, and started a concert pianist career.
