Everyone should do something to protect the Earth.

We can do a lot of things to protect our planet. We shouldn’t throw rubbish on the floor or into the river. It pollutes the Earth! Instead, we should pick rubbish up and put it into the dustbin. Besides, we shouldn’t use disposable items, which is a waste of our natural resources.

We shouldn’t waste water either. We should turn off the tap when we are brushing our teeth and try to finish taking a shower as quickly as possible. The best idea to save water is to reuse water, for example, we can use the water that we have washed vegetables to water flowers! In addition, we can change used materials into things of value. Therefore, we shouldn’t throw away used paper, old books and empty cans which are also useful if recycled.

What’s more, we have to protect the flowers and trees. They can make our home fresh and beautiful because they take in carbon dioxide and give out oxygen. Furthermore, clean your house and office often to keep them clean.

Finally, take a bus or a subway train to work instead of driving your car. Walk or ride your bike to school. The Earth is our mother, and we have only one Earth, so we should protect her and make her beautiful to thank her. Let’s try our best to protect mother Earth.
