THE Shenzhen Private Equity Association on Oct. 8 issued the guidelines for project applications regarding several measures to support the development of private equity fund industry in Futian, which has attracted lots of attention from the private equity sector.

Futian has released six major supporting policies this year in order to consolidate the position of finance in the district, to facilitate the cluster of private equity funds, to create an international private equity fund highland, to improve the finance ecosystem, and to upgrade the district’s capability of servicing the real economy.

The policies this time cover every developmental stage of the fund industry, providing support to enterprises in different aspects.The newly settled private fund can get a one-off subsidy of up to five million yuan (US$72.33 million). Mother funds and baby funds can obtain a subsidy of up to 15 million yuan. Office space purchases can obtain a subsidy of up to 30 million yuan and apartment rentals can obtain a subsidy of up to 10 million yuan. Each enterprise will get at most seven apartments for talents. The private equity fund that contributes most to the district will get a support of up to 10 million yuan.

These policies target with more precision the key links of the industrial chain of private equity funds, covering the settlement of funds, the support of office space, the support of housing and support regarding comprehensive contributions.(Chen Xiaochun)
