Tree Courtyard Resort

Strictly speaking, Tree Courtyard Resort is not a guesthouse built on a paddy field, but it is only a stone’s throw away from a vast expanse of paddy fields. It’s not an old renovated house but a new one harmoniously embedded into the environment.

The design of the courtyard incorporated local materials, including the tiles and the glass. There are altogether five buildings in the resort, namely an office building, reception hall, study room, guest building and a kitchen.

A straight country lane passes through the paddy field. Walking from the resort, you can circle around the fishpond near the gate before turning onto the path on the left, and then walk a few minutes and you will reach the paddy field. You can also see the field from the roof of the resort.

There are only three rooms in the guest building. The names of the rooms are related to trees. The wooden furniture along with the warm lighting in the room creates a cozy atmosphere. In the morning, the sound of singing birds will wake you up instead of an alarm clock.

The fast pace of urban life can get a bit wearisome from time to time and when this happens you may feel the urgent need to take a break in a tranquil place. With a clear view of the moon and stars, you will quickly recover from any of that city-living fatigue.
