THE 20th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) officially kicks off at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center today, showcasing more than 1,000 cutting-edge technological products covering the fields of artificial intelligence, virtual reality, autonomous driving, drones and robotics.

GENEINNO, a technology firm based in Shenzhen, has brought their underwater drones to the fair this year. “Titan,” a new-generation underwater drone developed by the company, is able to go up to 150 meters underwater, the deepest that a consumer underwater drone has ever reached, according to GENEINNO.

Additionally, the drone is equipped with ultra-high definition cameras and LED lights, which can light up the darkness underwater and enable users to share impressive moments on social media with a single click.

The level 4 automatic driving system is the latest autonomous driving solution provided by artificial intelligence startup Roadstar.ai. By adopting the two core technologies, Hetero Sync and Deep Fusion, the perception system offers accurate real-time detection, classification and prediction of any object on the road.

After completing a series of successful road tests in California and domestic cities, the autonomous driving system is now ready for commercial operation, said the company.

Royole Corp., a Shenzhen-based company focused on flexible displays and sensors, has showed up at the fair for four consecutive years.

“Over the past few years, Royole has been launching new products every year while also increasing its production. This year, the Royole exhibition area at CHTF has set a new record. Many products are being displayed for the first time at the fair,” Fran Ma, media director of Royole, told the Shenzhen Daily.

In addition to the company’s intelligent notebook RoWrite, flexible torch RoTorch, and 3-D mobile cinema Royole Moon, visitors are also invited to get their hands on the company’s foldable mobile phone FlexPai.
