THE fair organizer has arranged for free shuttle buses to run between hotels and the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, the main venue of the 20th China Hi-Tech Fair.

The direct shuttle buses connect with 12 hotels, including Proud Way Hotel, Yijia International Hotel, Asta Hotel, Shenzhen Friendship Hotel, Chutian Hotel, Luohu Grand Hotel and Pavilion Hotel.

Exhibitors can present their certificates or passes for the fair to the bus driver to get a free ride to the venue in the morning and to the hotel in the afternoon. Delegations to the fair can make reservations for bus services if they are staying in Nanshan, Luohu or Futian districts and the number of riders reaches above 10.

Police estimate around 80,000 people will visit the fair each day on average.

To ensure safety, police will adopt the latest technologies, including facial recognition, ID verification, thermodynamic imaging and high-definition cameras, at the entrances to the main venue.

Unlicensed drones will be banned from use inside the halls of the exhibition center, and nearly 2,800 police officers and security guards will be on duty to check the licensed vehicles and personnel entering the main venue of the fair.

Although police don’t impose traffic controls for the fair, vehicles parked along Jintian Road, Yitian Road, Fuhua No. 1 Road, Fuhua No. 3 Road, Central Road 2, Central Road 3, Central Road 4, Haitian Road and Mintian Road during the fair period will be towed.
