GLORIOUS Sun Holdings Ltd. unveiled the scale, layout and developmental blueprint of their One Lakeside project, which will be situated near West Lake in Huizhou, at a ceremony held at Grand Hyatt Shenzhen on Monday, gathering over 100 representatives from renowned brands and agencies.

The commercial complex will be a one-stop shopping and experience center blending catering, entertainment, tourism and culture into one. It will not only feature the Hakka culture of the Dongjiang River and iconic Lingnan landscapes, but also provide a new consumption experience for people in Huizhou.

Situated in the commercial center of Huizhou, the mall will enjoy a panorama view of the 5A tourist site West Lake. Conveniently connected with the Dongguan-Huizhou intercity railway, it covers a commercial area of 100 thousand square meters and is positioned to attract over 200 brands. It is expected to open in early 2020.

“We expect our project, which is located in Huizhou, to become a highlight of the Greater Bay Area, of the area to the north of Shenzhen and the northeast of Hong Kong,” said Charles C.K. Yeung, chairman of Glorious Sun Holdings Ltd.

CJ CGV, the largest multiplex cinema chain in South Korea, will open a cinema at One Lakeside, the brand’s first in Huizhou. CJ CGV is the No. 4 cinema operator on the Chinese mainland in terms of market share.

“We will customize it for One Lakeside and create a super five-star cinema for the city and even the country,” said Li Lunhao, vice president of CJ CGV China.
