Xie Baoyi, Class 9, Junior 2, Shenzhen Xin’an Middle School Instructed by Xia Yanghua, Tang Ying 深圳市新安中学(集团)初二(9)班 谢宝仪 指导老师:夏扬华 汤颖 On Sunday, I went to Bao’an Library with my friend. We used our ID cards to borrow books, and after that, I put my card into my bag. Then we got on a bus to go home. On the bus, as I was rearranging my bag, I found there was a small hole in it and I couldn’t find my ID card! I asked my friend anxiously, “Have you seen my ID card?” “No. What happened, dear?” “Well, I can’t find my ID card and there is a hole in my bag! Maybe it fell out! How unfortunate I am!” I told her in a desperate voice. My friend patted me on the shoulder to comfort me and said, “Don’t worry. Give your parents a call and go back to the library to look for it. I’ll accompany you.” “Thank you very much, dear!” I took out my mobile phone and called my parents. We went back to the library on another bus. When we got back, we looked carefully, hoping to find it, but we didn’t find anything. I was very sad and worried. In fact, my great hope turned to great disappointment. When I gave up looking for my ID card, my friend led me to the information desk and asked the man there. He thought for a while, took out an ID card, and asked, “Is this yours, little girl?” “Yes! It is mine! Thank you very much! Thank you, my dear! ” I said excitedly. I was very happy to find my ID card. What’s more, I was even happier because there was a good friend who helped and accompanied me when I was in trouble, which was the most important thing. Then, we felt relaxed and confident. We came home during a dark night, but there was a very bright moon in the sky. It’s just like the friendship between us that is necessary in the darkness to light our way forward. |
