    2018-12-21  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A POETRY recital contest recently wrapped up at the Xinqiao Cultural Art Center.

The contest has attracted more than 60 contestants. After two preliminary contests and the final, a total of 16 contestants won prizes. Cheng Tingting won the first prize. Duan Chenyuan and Ge Yupeng won the second prizes. Wang Bin, Meng Qingyan and Tao Ling won the third prizes. Another 10 contestants won the excellent prizes.

During the contest, contestants made emotional performances and combined the power of voice with the beauty of poetry, offering a spiritual and cultural feast for audiences. The selected poems are winning entries of the first Greater Bay national poetry competition, which helps to spread the poems.

The contest provides poem lovers with a platform to represent themselves. Judges gave high praises to the contestants. At the same time, they made suggestions and offered guidance. (Wang Jingli)
