Table tennis super league

The 2018-2019 season of the China Table Tennis Super League has begun. On Jan. 9, 12, 23 and 30, Shenzhen Bao’an Mingjinhai Club will compete against Shandong Weiqiao, Hebei Bazhou Hairun, Bayi Nanchang and Anhui Langkun, respectively.

The China Table Tennis Super League is the top table tennis division under the Chinese Table Tennis Association. Famed world table tennis players such as Fan Zhendong (Bayi Nanchang) and Liang Jingkun (Shandong Weiqiao) will compete in Shenzhen. Fan is currently ranked No. 1 in the world for men’s singles by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF).

Power Station

Taiwanese rock duo Power Station will perform for their Shenzhen fans Jan. 4, 2019. As one leg on their 20th anniversary tour, the Shenzhen concert will feature the band’s most popular songs including “When” and “Rainbow.”

Their music is characterized by rock mixed with ballads. After the release of their first album, their fame spread within the Chinese music scene in the 1990s.
