FUTIAN District planned to focus on 20 projects in 2018, covering education, pension, public culture, ecological improvement, and urban quality improvement. As the new year arrived, most of the projects were poised to be completed, and some have already been completed and put into use.

The cultural and sports facilities of two community parks were upgraded and five new cultural and sports venues were built.
