My way to relax
    2019-01-16  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

瑞得福国际学校G10A班 夏浩原

Sometimes I will sit by the window, staring at a green banana tree outside for a long time. This is because I can get some energy to continue my work. Cars need to refuel with gas and my way is to talk about all my annoyances with that tree.

Sometimes I don’t want to be busy and tired, but life will never make you happy. All kinds of pressures bother me all the time. Winter nights in the south are still chilly.

I lifted my eyes from the pile of homework and saw the green tree outside dancing in the cold wind as if to say, “Do not give up, you will be successful. See I can dance.” The great green leaves reflect the silver light, setting off its vitality. The city is asleep, but she is still awake, quietly beside my window, like a loyal safeguard, like a gentle mother. I realized that I’m not alone. The tree is with me. Thinking of this, my heart is like a melting pot that is about to be put out of the general fuel, warmed up again.

In fact, her situation is no better than me: Every day she suffers from worms bite; birds overhead and sometimes will be tattooed characters. The year round of the blazing sun, rain, frost, and haze damages her skin.

The thoughts made my heart light up. My current life is not that bad, at least I have parents, teachers, classmates, relatives and friends as well as the window of the green tree. They encourage me to resist the wind and rain. In the face of difficulties, a tree is so calm. Why do I haggle over every ounce?

Facing the green tree outside the window, I secretly swear: I don’t want to be the best, as long as I gradually become better. Even if the last is still not the top one, but at least I have tried.
