Bao’an District turning into flower sea
    2019-01-18  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

BAO’AN will be immersed in a sea of flowers as every subdistrict will contribute a land lot to flowers.

The district’s Party chief Yao Ren made the remarks during an inspection tour of a flower-field project in Yanluo Subdistrict on Jan. 12. Work on the 110,000-square-meter first phase of the 270,000-square-meter project has begun. Flowers that blossom in different seasons will be planted, which will transform the streets into a burst of colors.

“I hope in the future our residents won’t have to travel far to Wuyuan in Jiangxi Province to enjoy the scenery of cole flowers because they can find bewitching beauty right here.”

Yao also suggested that every subdistrict carry out science education to increase knowledge about plants and flowers, and seize the opportunity to boost tourism.(SD News)
