Illegal structure dismantling task overfulfilled
    2019-01-18  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

SHAJING Subdistrict had demolished 1.04 million square meters of illegal structures by Dec. 28, 2018, reaching 119.88 percent of the year’s target.

According to the work plan of the district Party committee and district government, 870,100 square meters of illegal buildings were to be dismantled in Shajing Subdistrict in 2018, accounting for 14.2 percent of the total in Bao’an District and ranking it first among the subdistricts in terms of workload.

According to official statistics, the subdistrict had removed about 330,000 square meters of illegal structures through land readjustment work, which effectively promoted the implementation of the annual task.

The treatment of black and odorous water is also an important task, as it is a livelihood issue of great concern to the public. To achieve the task, Shajing Subdistrict carried out a special action against illegal structures along rivers in the name of environmental protection and supervision.

To this end, a leading group was set up headed by the main leaders in the subdistrict. According to detailed work arrangements, a special action plan for the demolition of illegal structures near He’erchong River and Shachong River was formulated, and law enforcers went shop to shop to explain the relevant policies to shop owners.

Eventually, 57 illegal structures along the He’erchong River and 15 along Shachong River were demolished according to the law.

This special rectification action alone cleared nearly 50,000 square meters of illegal structures.
