Shajing aims to strengthen public security
    2019-01-18  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A LAUNCH ceremony was recently held in Shajing Subdistrict, marking the beginning of public security patrols and safety checks on production activities ahead of the Spring Festival holiday.

Following the ceremony, relevant departments in Shajing will cooperate with each other to reduce potential risks in areas such as traffic and production activities.

Shajing Subdistrict covers an area of 35 square kilometers with a population of 619,000 people, and is home to many factories and enterprises. The complicated environment has made public security hard to manage.

However, the subdistrict office attaches great importance to safe production and social stability, and always puts the safety of the people and their property at the core of their work. Security and stability have become two key words in their work, according to Zhan Hui, the subdistrict’s Party chief.

Over the past year, the subdistrict has achieved great results in safeguarding social order. The number of public security cases processed by the police has decreased, based on data released by the authority. (Wang Jingli)
