Interactive drama brings ‘OZ’ to kids
    2019-01-18  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

AN interactive drama for children based on the classic story, “The Wizard of OZ,” debuted in Bao’an District last month, bringing the joyful and meaningful experience of drama to children.

The drama was jointly organized by the Edinburgh-Shenzhen Creative Exchange (ESCE), Shenzhen Creative Investment Group and Digital Tiger Co. Ltd. with support from the University of Edinburgh as a major activity in Creative December.

ESCE has been organizing activities for Creative December for three years, focusing on culture and technology projects in Shenzhen and Edinburgh.

It was the first time that both Chinese and British drama experts jointly designed an interactive drama for children between the ages of 4 and 8 that used digital media and other cutting-edge technologies.

Based on the plot of “The Wizard of OZ,” the drama guided and encouraged the young players to stage all of the scenes with a spirit of interaction and teamwork, passing on love, wisdom and courage to the children. (Zhang Qian)
