Safety training

THE Shenzhen traffic police department launched a training program for car-sharing drivers to ensure safety during the Spring Festival transport season.

The app-based cab operator Didi has taken a series of measures for drivers, including online and offline training, tests, facial recognition and fatigued driving reminders, to ensure safety during the holiday. The company has also set up a command office that requires its offices across the country to implement work safety measures and arrange for employees to be on duty 24 hours a day during holidays to handle emergencies.

Free trains

A HIGH-SPEED train departed from Shenzhen for Baise, Guangxi, on Friday. The tickets for the train were supported by Shenzhen Lottery Tickets Issuing and Circulation Center, which has helped 53,000 workers return home during the Spring Festival holiday since 2013.
