Ban lifted

SHENZHEN’S traffic police authority has lifted a ban on nonlocally registered passenger cars from running in the city during rush hours.

Between yesterday and Feb. 19, nonlocal passenger cars are allowed on Shenzhen’s roads without time restrictions.

The restrictions will resume starting Feb. 20, according to the traffic police authority.

Illegal services

THE law enforcement units of the city’s transport commission have busted 664 cases of illegal transport services since Jan. 21, the start of the Spring Festival travel rush.

The violations include buses that failed to pick up passengers at designated points or drive along the designated routes, and unlicensed app-based cab services.
