A TERRIFYING moment was caught on camera showing an angry snake getting caught in the front wheel of a bicycle causing two men to run for their lives.

The snake, thought to be a spectacled cobra, rushes on to the road in Telangana, southern India, and in to the path of two unsuspecting men on a bicycle.

Leaving the undergrowth the snake almost flies across the road at incredible speed.

CCTV captures the moment the snake becomes tangled in the bicycle’s front wheel and the two men leap away.

The bicycle is flung to the ground as the men flee the snake that inflicts the most bites on humans in India.

And while neither were injured by the terrifying ordeal, some parts of their bicycle were damaged when it fell to the ground as the pair ran away.

A local source said, “As soon as the riders realized the presence of the reptile they sprang up from the vehicle and ran away for their life.

“The breed of the snake was not confirmed but it is believed to be a spectacled Cobra.

The spectacled cobra is an extremely dangerous snake with a poisonous bite that can be fatal. (SD-Agencies)
