A CUTE but very cheeky kangaroo made friends with the locals as it hopped through an Australian pub.

The furry animal seemed to be observing the pub in Western Australia before making an entrance via the front door.

A local resident enjoying a beer started filming the marsupial as it made its way through the sports bar and into the smoking area.

“My mates and I were enjoying a few cold ones when a kangaroo hopped on into the pub... straight through a sports teams mad Monday celebration,” the cameraman said.

Patrons didn’t seem to be bothered and continued to talk and play pool while the kangaroo hopped past.

Many online users joked about the cheeky Australian animal.

“I wonder how many people thought they were drunk after seeing a kangaroo hop around inside a pub,” one said.
