Government service center wins award
    2019-04-12  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

THE Futian government service center has been awarded among the top 10 of the 2019 Pearl River Delta business environment government service centers, according to the Shenzhen Evening News.

This is another of Futian District’s achievements in improving its business environment, the report said.

Futian has made a series of moves in recent years to make administrative services more convenient and efficient in order to build a talent highland and first class comprehensive business environment.

One move in this regard is that the district has launched smart reform targeting three aspects to ensure the public has a hassle-free experience when handling affairs at service centers, according to the report.

For example, residents can use their mobile phones to upload their ID cards and electronic materials through an app called Smart Futian and avoid having to visit a service center.

This service is available for 482 items, covering 90 percent of all service items.

Self-service machines are available 24 hours a day.

A total of 1,488 city services can be handled through the machines. Additionally, as many as 104 services can be handled with some of the required materials missing.

In order to resolve residents’ concerns about having to run between several offices to handle their affairs, the district has made it so all kinds of services, except for 35 special items, can be handled at one counter at the district’s administrative service center.(Wang Jingli)
