Life is always cruel, but we must face it.

At the beginning of this term, a few classmates left our experimental class and went to a lower-grade class. I really couldn’t accept their departure, so I was blue nearly for a week. However one day, I suddenly realized I was wrong and the most important thing to do was to encourage them. Here, I have written down what I want to say to them:

“Dear classmates, we all feel sad that you left our class. Everyone has study methods which are most suitable for them, so try to find out yours. As the Chinese saying goes, indigo blue is extracted from the indigo plant, but is bluer than the plant it comes from. Why not believe that you can do anything much better than others?”

Former American President Barack Obama said, “Maybe you could be a great writer — maybe even good enough to write a book or articles in a newspaper — but you might not know it until you write that English paper — that English class that’s assigned to you.” Therefore, your present situation does not determine your future. No one can decide your destiny; you have to write your own words and create your future.

Everything is possible, isn’t it? Sometimes you feel lonely because you feel that no one can understand you. Though the process of hard work is very long and difficult, you should believe that behind darkness there is always light.
