A BAO’AN company made a stunning appearance at Auto Shanghai 2019 on April 18 with their latest products.

Auto Shanghai, officially known as the Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition, attracted more than 1,000 well-known car enterprises from over 20 countries and regions this year.

At the auto show, Bao’an-based Leishen Intelligent System Co. Ltd. showcased the public debut of their latest Lidar product, a 128-channel Lidar system that boasts high precision and high density. The sensor is another one of Leishen’s important products further promoting the development of the autonomous driving industry.

Lidar is a surveying technology that measures distance by illuminating a target with a laser light.

According to a staffer with the company, the sensor’s precise detection range can reach 200 meters when the sensor encounters low-reflectivity objects. It can effectively help the autonomous driving system identify the categories of obstacles faster and enhance the redundancy and security of system computation. (Zhang Yu)
