Henan treasures

Treasures on loan from Central China’s Henan Museum are on display until next year. Entry is free.

Oil paintings

Oil paintings by five Chinese artists are on display. These include portraits, still life and landscapes by Li Guijun, Zhang Xudong, Chang Lei, Xia Libin and Wang Jian.

Venue: 5/F, Artron Art Center, 19 Shenyun Road, Nanshan District (南山区深云路19号雅昌艺术中心五楼)

‘Energy’

The “Energy” exhibition attempts to present the nature of art production. Participating artists are Liu Qingyuan, Luo Peng, Tang Xiao, Wu Xiaohai and Zhao Jun.

Venue: Boxes Art Space, Building 11, Lan Ying Fang, OCT Harbor, Baishi Road, Nanshan District (南山区白石路欢乐海岸蓝楹坊11栋盒子空间)

Xue Yang’s paintings

Shenzhen artist Xue Yang, who now works at Guan Shanyue Art Museum, is exhibiting her poetic oil paintings and installations at the “Und Alles Schwieg” (“And All Was Silent”) exhibition at Serpentine Gallery in Shekou. Entry is free.

Dates: Until Aug. 16

‘A Cappella’

Chinese artist Zheng Yueyuan and Spanish artist Gerard Torres are exhibiting their works at “A Cappella: International Young Artists Communication Exhibition Series.” Curators Gan Ting and Jiang Yiyi hope that this series of exhibitions will explore the direction and value of the future of art.

Dates: Until Aug. 31
