Camera exhibition held at Upperhills
    2019-07-02  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A CAMERA exhibition organized by Canon South China Regional Administration Division and its industrial partners was held at Shum Yip Upperhills in Futian District on Sunday, offering a platform for thousands of photographers and fans to exchange and experience new photographing technologies.

It was the city’s first camera and imaging apparatus exhibition.

“Shenzhen is a key player in the global electronic information industry. The industrial leader Canon is enhancing its presence in the Shenzhen market by taking the opportunity of the Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area,” said Nakashima Koji, chief regional officer of Canon South China Regional Administration Division.

As a leader in the imaging industry, Canon divided the camera and apparatus exhibition into six areas to display its full range of products, providing studio photographing, macro shot and telegraphing, so visitors could experience Canon products and high-quality inkjet printing.

Among the Canon products, including EOS, EOS R, EOS RP, EOS M, PowerShot EF/RF, PIXMA PRO and PIXMA TS inkjet printing, the full-frame mirrorless camera EOS R is the most popular among VLoggers due to its smaller body size, 4K resolution, sturdy feel, and reassuring weight and ergonomics.

At the image photographing studio, the EOS RP, which is among the smallest and lightest full-frame cameras, stole the show due to its price, solid JPEG image quality and AF system.

“Canon will enhance investment in the consumer imaging market and take multiple measures to expand and set up studios to provide sustainable service to consumers,” Nakashima said.
