Restorers prepare Rembrandt’s famous painting the “Night Watch,” which is protected by a glass barrier and video surveillance, as it undergoes public restoration after a first phase of study, in the famed Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on Monday. Rijksmuseum on Monday began a historic restoration of the painting, erecting a huge glass cage around the painting so the public can see the work carried out live.
